🌿 Woodland Club
Each week, we’ll dive into the wonders of the woodland, exploring plants, trees, and the natural world through the seasons with hands-on activities. Together, we will identify and record species biodiversity and add it to a global database, manage and nurture the woodland. There will be sessions to explore harvesting forest foods and permaculture and enjoy cooking over campfires. In addition, there will be opportunities to learn traditional craft skills, creative art and creative literature inspired by nature.

 

🌊 River Club
Our new River Club will focus on an exciting, long-term programme, to manage the waterways, to reestablish rare species of flora and fauna that will benefit the health of the river. As a community we can work together to create a large-scale, nature-inspired sculpture to honour the river and a story trail along the riverbank. The trail will showcase the beauty of our local environment while celebrating the creativity and connection of our community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our natural environment, contribute to the health of the river and subsequently our seas, while enjoying the health benefits of being outdoors and having fun with your family and fellow participants. The River Club is designed for families, children (3+), teens, and adults, making it a perfect, multi-generational activity!

Chilton Magic Garden provides a relaxed, unrestrained, liberating and inclusive environment that encourages freedom to play whilst harnessing children’s curiosity for self-discovery.

We provide our own themed nature-inspired and science-oriented experiences towards an extended horizon of the childrens’ educational journey, fostering a child’s resilience, responsibility, resourcefulness and resolution

The clubs are run in small groups (max 12) by qualified, DBS certified staff with relevant risk assessment.

A minimum number of people is required at present to run these activities, so please bring your friends!
